Design Calculations & Reports

Analyses of structures are done using Prokon Structural Design Software, Ansys FEM, Bentley Hammer and various in-house developed calculation sheets. Clients are provided with design reports highlighting analysis results and conclusions.

Analysis capabilities range from water hammer investigations, structural analysis using Finite Element Methods. Analysis results are checked to various international standards such as DIN 19704, EM 110-2-2015 for gate structures on dams and ASCE MOP 79 or AWWA Manual 11 for penstocks and dam outlet structures. Other international codes may also be used depending on project specific requirements.
